What are the minimum and target rates?

You will be prompted to enter minimum and target rates. 

The minimum values are the absolute minimum rates that you will accept for a translation assignment. You should receive no notifications for jobs posted in the corresponding field rates below your minimum value.

The target rate is what you would ask for when presented with a translation assignment matching these criteria:

* Is in a subject field you are familiar with
* Requires no extra costs to you (travel expenses, software, dictionaries, etc.)

Your target charge is what you might list on your CV or personal website for potential clients to see.
