When will I receive payment in my account?
Payouts are initiated on pay day, but other factors may delay receipt
ProZ*Pay initiates your payment within 1 business day of your request.
However, this only starts the process.
PayPal arrives in your PayPal account immediately on ProZ*Pay action.
US-based bank transfers may take 1 business day. Other bank transfers may be 1-2 business days. Some international transfers might take up to 7 days.
Why? Once an international wire transfer is initiated, funds are deducted from the ProZ*Pay account. The transfer may undergo security checks, currency conversion, and pass through several intermediary or correspondent banks before finally landing at the final destination.
Once the payout gets to your bank, there can still be processing time locally. Thus, it can take more time for the transfer amount to actually appear as usable funds in the recipient’s bank account – even if the money’s already there.
