If the question is closed and points were awarded, can I still answer it?

Once a KudoZ question is closed and points were awarded, anyone can still propose an answer. The logic behind that is that ProZ.com allows anyone to help askers as much as they can, even if these askers have decided they have found the best answer to their question already.
